Visiting Hours

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, you’ll want to check the latest changes to visitor policies for Oklahoma Children's Hospital OU Health, including information for essential caregivers, general requirements, screening and more.

Other restrictions may apply, such as in the pediatric intensive care unit. For unrestricted areas of Oklahoma Children's Hospital OU Health, visit daily 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Private Patient Rooms

Your child’s private, colorful room offers expanded capacity so you can remain with them in comfort. During extended stays, feel free to decorate your child’s space with favorite items from home. Use your discretion when encouraging family members or friends to visit and for how long.

Family Resource Center

You and your loved ones can benefit from our commitment to family-centered care when you take advantage of the Family Resource Center at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital OU Health, open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Learn more about the Family Resource Center.

Ronald McDonald Family Room

Find a place of refuge within the hospital for yourself and your family while you stay with your child. The Ronald McDonald Family Room, a 2,000-square-foot area across from The Zone on the 6th Floor in Oklahoma Children's Hospital OU Health, offers a comfortable, welcoming environment with many home-like amenities such as:

  • Kitchen
  • Laundry with washers, dryers, detergent
  • Showers
  • Sleeping rooms for naps or overnight accommodations – For up to a three-night stay, ask your hospital social worker for a reservation referral
  • Internet access
  • Quiet room
  • Reference books
  • Seating area with television
  • Monday through Friday – 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday – 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Sunday – 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Red Shelf Gift Shop

Located in the Children's Atrium, the gift shop has children's gifts, comfort items, candy, sodas, cards and more. Gifts can be ordered over the phone and delivered to patient rooms, along with flowers and balloons.

Amazon Hub

Oklahoma Children’s Hospital OU Health is thrilled to announce the offering of Amazon Hub Lockers on-site! Amazon Hub Lockers are a secure, self-service kiosk allowing our patient families and team members to conveniently receive and return Amazon products while at the hospital.

Ermine, our new Amazon Hub Locker, is located outdoors on the east side of Oklahoma Children’s Hospital near the Presti Clubhouse and COVID-19 Testing (1T). The Hospital’s east entrance (shuttle drop-off) should be used to access the Locker. Ermine is accessible 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Patient Rights at OU Health

You have the right to present complaints regarding any area of your hospital stay or care. You can make these complaints, including reporting to regulatory agencies, without fear of retribution or concern that your care will be compromised. We will assist you in resolving any conflicts. We will assist you with filing a complaint with a regulatory agency. To file a complaint, please contact that department’s director. You can either:
