About Susanna Ulahannan
Susanna Ulahannan, MD, MMed, is an assistant professor in the section of hematology/oncology. She specializes in treatment of Gastrointestinal Cancers and Phase I Clinical Trials. She is the associate director of the Oklahoma TSET Phase I Program, and serves as the Institutional Principal Investigator of NRG for medical oncology. She is designated NCI Early Stage Clinical investigator.
She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, where she serves as a group member of the Gastrointestinal Guideline Advisory Board. Member. She is a member of Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC). She is currently a member of the Data Safety and Monitoring Committee, and Chair of the Early Phase disease site committee, at the Stephenson Cancer Center.
Dr. Ulahannan completed a hematology-oncology fellowship at the National Cancer Institute/National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland. She completed an internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins University, Sinai Hospital, Baltimore. She earned her medical degree and a master’s of medicine from Sahlgrenska Akademin, Goteborg University in Sweden
She is board certified in hematology, medical oncology, and internal medicine.
