About Michael Brand
Michael Brand, PhD, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker at OU Health Physicians in Oklahoma. He is a professor in the department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and serves as the Vice Chair of Social Work, Adult Mental Health and Child and Adolescent Mental.
Dr. Brand earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Social Work at the University of Texas at Arlington in Arlington, TX. His dictatorial studies focused on adolescent substance abuse, substance abuse treatment and the development and management of behavioral health care systems.
Dr. Brand's clinical practice focuses on mind-body medicine for the treatment of mood disorders, psychological trauma, substance use disorders, insomnia, chronic pain, and illness. In addition, he specializes in marriage and family therapy and collaborates with the with sleep medicine, advanced cardiac, pain management and transplant programs,- providing cognitive behavioral therapy, integrated behavioral health, biofeedback, hypnosis, and psychotherapy.
