About Cameron Mantor

Dr. Mantor joined OU Health in 1995 and has most recently served as the associate Chief Physician Executive for Physician Practice for OU Health Partners and has served in a variety of physician leadership roles during his 28 years at OU Health. He is the Vice Chair of the Department of Surgery in the OU College of Medicine and a professor in the Division of Pediatric Surgery. Dr. Mantor earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. He is also a fellowship-trained pediatric surgeon and completed his general surgery residency training at the OU College of Medicine where he went on to complete subspecialty training in pediatric surgery. Dr. Mantor also holds a master's degree in healthcare administration and policy from the Hudson College of Public Health.

Dr. Mantor was great, answering all of our questions and making us feel better about our treatment plan. However, it took 3 weeks and multiple phone calls to his staff to inquire about what the CT showed, which was going to dictate a surgery or not. Had I not called I'm unsure when/if anyone would have reached out.

Dr. Mantor is very caring, he's very thorough, and he gives details to parents what they need to know. He's very appreciated and he's very professional.

The interior of the facility is wonderful. The staff, the physicians, the technician, were outstanding. The person who took our car and did the valet service was outstanding. Your greatest deficiency is in the design of parking, or the lack thereof. You need to build tall parking garages to make it easier on people to use your hospital. Thank you. Bye bye.

OU childrens' is a large hospital and the staff did a fantastic job of helping us navigate the multiple appointments we had, even moving us up and seeing us earlier so we could travel home earlier. It was much appreciated.
