  Dr. Mir is excellent. He visits with his patient for a few minutes so the patient is comfortable. He explains what he is going to do so the patient understands. Dr. Mir is very thorough in his exam and then he explains everything to the parents. He asks if there are any concerns. Dr. Mir is fantastic!!

  The food was terrible. The care was pretty good. The room was freezing and we also didn't have a bed to sleep on because they wouldn't bring us a rollaway bed. So that was difficult. But the overall care our daughter received was pretty good.

  All the nurses and doctors were kind and helpful. My only complaint would be the night nurses were extremely loud all night long. They were very loud at the nurse's station and up and down the hallways all throughout the night. Laughing, talking, with what felt like zero respect for the patients trying to get well and rest as much as possible. I have personally stayed overnight multiple times at hospitals and never experienced this amount of noise at night that I experienced at OU Children's Hospital.

  It was like they would talk down to us, like we didn't understand what was going on and there were appointments that were made and we showed up for whenever we lived 3 hours away, and the doctor wasn't even on staff that day and it just completely changed my... assurance of them caring about my child.
