About Rickie Farar
Rickie Farar is an advanced practice provider specializing in cardiovascular critical care. She has extensive experience in performing history and physical assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies, and developing and implementing care plans. Rickie is known for providing compassionate, family-centered care and actively participating in research opportunities.
Rickie earned her master of science in nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Nursing. She completed her bachelor of science in nursing at the University of Oklahoma College of Nursing. Additionally, she attended Rose State College and Northeastern State University during her educational journey
In addition to her clinical work, Rickie is involved in the education of students and participates in several national clinical trials. She is a member of various professional organizations, including ANCC, AACN, ONA, ANA, the International Consortium of Circulatory Assist Clinicians, and the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation. Rickie has received multiple awards, including Nurse of the Year 2021 for Integris Advanced Cardiac Care, and holds certifications such as AGACNP-BC, BLS/ACLS, and VAD-C.
