About Prashanth Iyer

Dr. Iyer is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He then obtained his medical degree and completed an Integrated Vascular Surgery residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He treats all aspects of vascular pathology, from aortic aneurysms and carotid disease to peripheral arterial disease and varicose veins.

The staff greeted me when I got there. They were very efficient and friendly. The nurse that I saw the last visit and this visit is very friendly and answers all my questions and seems very kind and caring. And the doctor and his assistant are very wonderful, very helpful, very caring about my needs and very informative.

I would like to know why I was referred to a provider in Tulsa, when all my other providers are in OKC. I am assured that vascular surgeons are available in OKC and look forward to seeing one soon. The provider I saw in Tulsa was great, but too far away, and was unable to get my latest CT scan which is now too old anyway.

Dr Iyer & his entire team are huge blessings!! He has a phenomenal bedside manner with his patients. We feel so well taken care of and heard, and know he is THE BEST surgeon! His staff are always efficient and friendly :-)
