About Naoko Takebe
Naoko Takebe, M.D., PhD, is the Nancy Johnston Records Endowed Chair in Oncology and a hematologist/oncologist at the Stephenson Cancer Center in Oklahoma City.
Originally from Japan, Dr. Takebe is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in medical hematology and medical oncology. She earned her doctorate of medicine from the Hirosaki University School of Medicine in Japan. As a post-doctoral fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, she specialized in gene therapy, stem cells, molecular pharmacology, and experimental therapeutics.
Dedicated to advancing patient care through clinical research, Dr. Takebe serves as the associate director of clinical research and solid tumor oncology section chief.
