About Michelle Pope

Michelle Pope, MSN, APRN-CNS, AGCNS-BC, CPN, is an Advanced Practice Provider in Neurology at OU Health and brings over three decades of nursing experience, specializing in adult-gerontology and pediatric care. She holds a Post-master’s Certificate in Adult & Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Science in Nursing (Educator Track) from Graceland University. Michelle has held various clinical and educational roles throughout her career, including staff nurse positions at renowned institutions such as Children’s Mercy Hospital and Medical City Children’s Hospital. Her extensive expertise spans oncology, critical care, pediatrics, and simulation-based education.

Michelle focuses on providing direct care to patients with multiple sclerosis. She has also played pivotal roles in performance management and innovation, utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies to lead hospital-wide initiatives. Her dedication to clinical education is evident from her previous experience as an Assistant Professor and her work in nursing certification development.
