About Michael Feldman
Michael Feldman, M.D., is a pediatric and endovascular neurosurgeon at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital OU Health, with a focus on Cerebrovascular disease , Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus management.
Dr. Feldman earned his Bachelor’s degree Magna Cum Laude in History and Brain/ Cognitive Science and a Doctor of Medicine with Distinction in Research from the University of Rochester. He went on to complete both his residency and an endovascular neurosurgery fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at Children’s of Alabama/University of Alabama-Birmingham. He also completed fellowships in socioeconomic and legislative advocacy through the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and Congress of Neurological Surgeons. In addition to his clinical work, he has a passion for research and advocacy, such as legislative work to make healthcare more affordable to our patients as well as working to reduce spina bifida. His work underscores the critical role that medical professionals play in patient advocacy, particularly in underserved communities.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Feldman enjoys eating his way through Oklahoma City, and volunteers working with dogs at the OK humane society.
