About Maifa Hafiz
Dr. Maida Hafiz, M.D. is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. She specializes in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine, providing comprehensive care to patients with a variety of respiratory and sleep disorders.
Dr. Hafiz earned her Doctorate of Medicine from Government Medical College in Srinagar, Kashmir, India. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. Following her residency, she pursued fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at East Carolina University and further specialized in Sleep Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Hafiz is actively involved in academic roles, serving as a lecturer for various fellowship core conferences. She has also contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications and presented at several medical conferences. Outside of her professional commitments, Dr. Hafiz volunteers with the Help Poor Volunteer Trust in Kashmir, India, and enjoys engaging in community service activities.
