About Kristy Griffith

A Tulsa native, Dr Griffith joined OU Health Physicians in Tulsa as Medical Director of the Psychiatry Clinic in 2013. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry.

She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame prior to completing medical school at the OU School of Community Medicine. She completed her intern years at the Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Residency Training Program and then returned to Tulsa to complete her residency in psychiatry at the OU School of Community Medicine in 2003.

Dr. Griffith has since practiced in the Tulsa community and brings a wealth of experience in outpatient and inpatient psychiatry, as well as in programs of assertive community treatment.

I really appreciate the time that Dr. Griffith spends on each appointment. She's open for any questions I have, which I usually have a lot, and she's good on adjusting meds as needed. I believe I've been seeing her a number of years, and I'll say the last visit is as good as the first one. That's it. Thank you. Bye.

Dr. Griffith is probably the best psychiatrist I've ever had. She's kind, she knows what you're talking about. She has good references for you to look up or have homework. She goes through everything with you. She comforts, cajoles, pressures, not pressures, but she's onward. She's just good and I hope you can keep her. Thank you. She's very good. She's very professional too. Very kind. Thank you.

The people at the front desk are always friendly and smiling, sometimes having a good laugh.
