About Jonathan Meyer
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Section of Diabetes and Endocrinology. I am also a member of the Harold Hamm Diabetes Center here at OU. Since graduation from fellowship here at OU, I have primarily worked as a clinician in our section. While I see all aspects of diabetes and endocrinology, my specific area of interest is in congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) and disorders of sexual development (DSD). I lead our multi-disciplinary “Succeed” clinic to care for these complex patients, and interact routinely with Nursing staff, Psychology, Urology, Gynecology, and others to provide the best care available. I am also working on some research projects in this field with the goal of making OU a leader in this specialized patient population. I am the physician coordinator of our endocrinology newborn screening program, and work closely with our team to coordinate follow up and treatment for patients who test positive after birth for CAH or hypothyroidism. I also have a significant interest in medical education, and coordinate rotations of both medical students and residents within our section. In my free time, I love playing tennis, running, and spending time with my wife and daughter.
