About Hiba Hammad
Dr. Hiba Hammad is an assistant professor in the department of medicine, specializing in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. He has extensive experience as a hospitalist and has been recognized for his contributions to optimizing lung cancer care through education, innovation, and partnership.
Dr. Hammad earned his doctorate of medicine from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University at Buffalo. He further specialized by completing fellowship training in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine at the University of Oklahoma.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Hammad serves as a faculty member at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He has been involved in several clinical trials and has published numerous articles in reputable medical journals. Dr. Hammad is also a nominee for the University of Oklahoma Gold Humanism Honor Society and has received multiple awards for his outstanding contributions to the medical field.
