About Elizabeth Burgess

Elizabeth Burgess, LD, is a clinical dietitian with OU Health Physicians in Tulsa. Elizabeth earned her Master of Science in Nutritional Sciences from Oklahoma State University, where she also completed a Dietetic Internship. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences (Dietetics) from Oklahoma State University.

She recently served as a Bariatric Dietitian at Bailey Medical Center, where she lead the nutrition program, developed educational materials, and conducted both group and individual nutrition classes for pre-op, post-op, and medical weight loss patients. Elizabeth is dedicated to modernizing nutrition education and providing comprehensive dietary support to her patients.

In addition to her clinical work, Elizabeth has a diverse background in nutrition education and community service. She has served as a Base & Installation Dietitian for the United States Air Force at Tinker AFB, where she developed and taught nutrition education classes focused on physical fitness and prenatal nutrition. Elizabeth has also worked as a Diabetes Dietitian for the Sac and Fox Nation, providing medical nutrition therapy and conducting cooking classes. She is passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles and enjoys participating in community events and professional development opportunities. In her free time, Elizabeth loves spending time with her family and exploring new culinary experiences.
