About Danushka Seneviratne
Danushka Seneviratne, M.D., Ph.D., is a radiation oncologist at OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center in Oklahoma City. She provides radiation therapy for patients of all ages experiencing cancer diagnoses. Dr. Seneviratne earned her doctorate of philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, PA and completed her doctorate of medicine from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. She went on to complete her residency training in Radiation Oncology at the Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education in Jacksonville, FL.
She is passionate about conducting research to evaluate the molecular basis for cancer outcome disparities as well as improving women’s cancer care by exploring alternative radiation therapy modalities.
