About Claire Delpirou Nouh
Dr. Delpirou Nouh is a board-certified neurologist and behavioral neurologist, dual trained in France then US. She completed her Behavioral Neurology fellowship training at Stanford University before joining OU Neurology department as a Clinical Assistant Professor. She provides comprehensive care for patients with Alzheimer’s disease, Lewy body Disease, frontotemporal dementia, primary progressive aphasia, posterior cortical atrophy, corticobasal syndrome, progressive supranuclear palsy, Huntington’s Disease and other kind of memory and cognitive disorders.
Her academic and research interest include clinical trials and therapeutic development for treatment and prevention in cognitive and neurodegenerative disorders, research on preclinical phase of neurodegenerative diseases and biomarkers development for earlier diagnosis, roles of neuroinflammation and blood brain barrier dysfunction, co-pathologies of Alzheimer’s disease and other proteinopathies particularly synucleinopathies and 4R tauopathies.
She is also dedicated to health equity and advocacy for her patients and family living with dementia and promoting easier access to care for all.
Beside medicine, she is a passionate martial artist practicing Kendo currently as a Sandan, but also like long walk in nature, photography and traveling when she is not just enjoying time with friends and family.
