About Beverly Funderburk
Beverly Funderburk, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist with the Child Study Center at OU Health in Oklahoma City. The majority of her career has been devoted to child maltreatment prevention and implementation of evidence-based practices.
She serves as the President of PCIT International, the governing body of Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), an evidence-based parenting program. Dr. Funderburk is co-director of the Suicide Prevention Resource Center. Along with continuing focus on PCIT, her current focus is on developing a registry of best practices in suicide prevention and expanding the voice of lived experience and cultural competence in the field.
