  Dr was very thorough and explained everything we needed to know. The likelihood of referral is based on the wait times to get into the doctor with an appointment and the wait time in office to be seen.

  Dr. A Shah is an amazing man. He has a great bedside manner.

  I had to contact the office two days prior to the pre-op visit to set up the appointment itself, and find out when my son was supposed to stop taking his heart medication. Luckily I told him the Monday prior to just stop taking it because no one had contacted me. Called again the day before to attempt to set up a pre-op appointment. Having four children, accommodations have to be made for me to make appointments… -There were stains where I was supposed to sleep, so I chose to sleep on the bench. -I had to tape the blinds down with tape given to me from a nurse. -The a/c in our room didn't work. It clicked on once after several attempts, and never came back on. -There wasn't even a chair available for my husband, let alone a place to sleep for our scheduled over night stay. -My son ordered chicken strips, which were maybe 2 inches long and so hard he couldn't chew either. - we are 1 1/2 weeks post op and no one has contacted us to see how he was doing post op (mercy and integriss both do this) this was a 7 hour heart procedure on my child. Come on. - I still have had no one contact me to set up his 6 week post op surgery appointment that I was told about…. I presume I will have to make arrangements myself and leave messages, because you're never able to contact a human being… The staff was wonderful. Everyone we ever contacted was great and as helpful as they could be.

  Dr. Shah is always the best, explaining and answering any questions we may have. We love him and the OU Cardiology Team!
