About Afsaneh Faramarzi

Afsaneh Faramarzi, APRN, FNP is a highly skilled advanced practice provider with a Master of Science Degree in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. She has extensive professional experience in spine and neurological surgery, serving as an APRN at OU Health. Afsaneh has also worked in various nursing roles at OU Medical Center Edmond, including the Ambulatory Care Unit and Medical-Surgical/ICU/PCU.

Her certifications include RNFA, BLS, ACLS, Stroke (NIHSS), Conscious Sedation, Pain Management, and Botox and filler injection. Afsaneh holds licensures from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Oklahoma Board of Nursing, and the Florida Board of Nursing.

Afsaneh is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI), Honor Society of Nursing, and has received the Executive Choice Award from Abadan College of Nursing for her leadership in population management and control. She is also dedicated to community service, volunteering at the Oklahoma Food Bank, the OKC Memorial Marathon Medical Tent, and providing blood pressure screenings in low-income communities.

Fluent in Farsi, Afsaneh enjoys traveling, interior designing, culinary arts, painting, playing volleyball, and watching NBA games.
