What is Camp Blue Hawk?

Camp Blue Hawk is a five-day, four-night, residential summer camp for children and teens with Type 1 diabetes. Over the course of the week, your camper will be able to participate in activities such as swimming, hiking, dancing, ropes courses, campfires, movie night, a talent show and a camp favorite: gaga ball! Because every camper has T1D, Summer Camp Hawk is such a unique yet completely normal experience — it’s a week for your kid to just be a kid.

Who can attend?

Camp Blue Hawk serves children and teens, ages 9-17, with Type 1 diabetes. Spots are limited and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.

How much does it cost?

The subsidized registration fee for camp is $675 per camper. Scholarships are available to those who express a financial need. No applicant will be turned away due to an inability to pay. Visit campbluehawk.org for detailed scholarship information.
